William Hargrove Obituary

William R. Hargrove, age 63, of Nesco, NJ peacefully passed away on November 18, 2022 with his family by his side after a 3 year battle with cancer. Bill was born April 19, 1959 in Lindenwold, NJ. He graduated Overbrook High School with a full scholarship to Rutgers which he declined and pursued engineering at Drexel University. It was there he met his soulmate Gail (Szydlowski) Hargrove and they have been together for 44 years. Bill was a loving husband and father. He was a member of the International Union of Operating Enginners Local 825 and proudly worked as an operating engineer. Bill had a small farm (Abigails Farm) in the pine barrens. This was a lifetime goal of his and he achieved it. He enjoyed fly fishing with a passion. Bill loved and respected nature. He was a true and loyal friend. Bill is predeceased by his parents Nancy (Dees) Rubino and William C. Hargrove. He is survived by his wife Gail (Szydlowski) Hargrove, and daughter Abigail M. Hargrove. Step mother Lynne Hargrove. 2 brothers Michael Hargrove and Kevin Hargrove. 2 sisters Michele Padham and Dawn Hargrove and numerous nieces and nephews. Service's celebrating William's life will be held Saturday December 3, 2022 at 11 AM at Batsto-Pleasant Mills United Methodist Church, Pleasant Mills Rd. and Nesco Rd., Batsto. NJ
