Thomas S Tocco Sr.

Thomas S. Tocco Sr., 88, of Woolwich Twp, NJ died at his home August 7, 2023, from a battle with cancer. He was born in Camden, NJ and formerly of Pennsauken and lived in Pilesgrove Twp. for many years before moving to Woolwich Twp with his daughter in 2013. He owned T.S.&R Construction Co., Inc. with his late wife Ruthann (nee Giannini) and was the developer of Laurel Hills Housing Development in Pilesgrove Twp. He built many commercial buildings, banks, warehouses, stores, restaurants, and homes all over South Jersey and parts of Pa. He started working construction when he was 14 with his father and brothers and went to work for Federici Brothers prior to opening his own business in the late 1950’s until his retirement in 2015. Surviving is his son Thomas S. Tocco Jr and wife Donna Lee, his daughter Teresa Tocco-Davenport and her husband George. Grandchildren Nicole Tocco Bonzella (Joshua) and Thomas R. Tocco (Danielle). Great Grandchildren Mason, Taylor, Natalia, And Juliana. A sister Anna McNally (Bill). Predeceased by his wife Ruthann, Parents Michele and Anna Tocco,  sisters Phylis (Mario) DiTommasi, Jennie (Giovanna) (Dominic) Rossodivito, Angelina (George) Passante, Mary (Sam) Ross, Josephine (Fred)  Reid. Brothers Giovanni Tocco , John (Rose) Tocco, Peter (Margaret) Tocco, Emanuel (Claire) Tocco, Michele (Gloria) Tocco and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to Celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday August 12, 2023 11 AM at the St. Mary of Mt Carmel Parish, St. Anthony Church 285 Route 206 in Hammonton, NJ. A viewing will be held 10-11AM prior to mass at the church. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hammonton.
