Kathy P (Passarella) Volpi

Katherine P. “ Kathy” Volpi ( nee Passarella) of Hammonton, passed away Saturday December 18, 2021 at her residence. Age 82. Born in Camden, Kathy is a life long South Jersey resident. She worked as a teacher in the Haddon Twp. School District for 37 years retiring in 1997. During the summer months Kathy worked various jobs including sales at Swainton’s in Ocean City, NJ, at the information booth in the Echelon Mall after school during the week, and an usher at the Borgata Casino music venues. Kathy also enjoyed playing at the casino’s, she loved the Phillies and 76ers especially Allen Iverson. Predeceased by her parents Lawrence and Josephine (nee Bilazzo) Passarella, a brother Larry Passarella. She is survived by her loving husband James Volpi, son James J. (Julie) Volpi of Oaklyn, NJ and twin granddaughters Madison and Maria. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial Thursday December 23, 2021, at 12 noon at the St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish St. Joseph Church Third and French St. Hammonton, NJ. Visitation with the family from 1130 - 12 noon at the church prior to mass. Interment will be private for immediate family ONLY, thank you for your consideration.
