Helen E. Ford ( nee Arena) passed away on Wednesday November 24, 2021. Age 97. Born in Hammonton she was a lifelong resident. Helen last worked for the AC Expressway as a leader in the clerical Dept. Helen had many jobs in her life which include South Jersey Transportation Auth. State Police Division, Secretary of Mori Brothers, office manager Harry Sharpe Inc., East End Motors all in Vineland. Trainee for RCA Victor in Camden. VP of NJ Federation of Republicans of Atlantic Co., Pres. Of Hammonton Womens Republican Club, Member of the Fishing club of America, Hammonton Historical Society, Womens Civic Club of Hammonton, Hammonton Seniors Club, ABWA South Jersey Rose Society, playing cards, going to the casino’s, sport fishing was her favorite hobby, and traveling to Florida. Predeceased by her husband Robert J. Ford, parents Salvatore and Millie (Caruso) Arena, sisters Mamie Rastelli, Marie Dampf, brothers Angelo Arena, Charles Arena, Joseph J. Arena. Survived by her nieces and nephews, caregiver Richard Chiappine. Entombment Greenmount Cemetery. As per Helen’s final wishes, all funeral arrangements are private.
