Concetta “ Jennie “ Mazzagatti, nee Sacco, of Hammonton passed away Thursday April 15, 2021. Age 98. Born in Hammonton, Jennie was a lifelong resident. She along with her late husband Carmen, owned and operated Mazzagatti Cold Cuts, Deli and Liquor Store for 20 years retiring in 1980. A homemaker in retirement Jennie loved being surrounded by family and friends. A member of the St. Joseph Church in Hammonton and was especially devoted to St Lucy where she walked by her statue in the Our Lady of Mt Carmel procession for 50 years. Predeceased by her beloved husband Carmen A. Sr., her son Dr. Nicholas J, brothers Paul, Domenic, Anthony, Frank, sisters Anna and Mary and son in law Frank J. Amedio Jr. Survived by her daughter Lucille Amedio and son Carmen A. Jr. ( Michelle). 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren. Daughter in laws Alice Mazzagatti, Dr. Claire Martell, Dr. Carlyn Phucas. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Thursday April 22, 2021 at 11 AM at the St. Mary of Mt Carmel Parish, St Joseph Church 3rd and French St Hammonton. Interment Greenmount Cemetery, Hammonton.
