Allen Solovitz Obituary

Allen Paul Solovitz, 80, of Absecon, NJ, passed away on October 7, 2023 after bravely battling a long illness. He was born on December 24, 1942, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Samuel and Bertha Solovitz . Allen is survived by his loving wife, Rosalie, his daughter, Lauren DeLuca (George) , his son, Jason (Erin), his adored grandchildren, Dana, Alexandra, and Kai and his sister Arlene Schliefer. He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel, and his mother, Bertha. Allen was a proud veteran, having served in the US Army.  A graduate of Charles Morris Price School of Advertising and Journalism in Philadelphia. Throughout his career, Allen was the owner and president of Perceptive Marketers Agency, later known as Allen Solovitz Consulting, making significant contributions to the advertising and marketing communications industry in Philadelphia and surrounding areas. He was also a member and past president of AANI, advertising network. Allen had a passion for watching Philadelphia sports teams, including the Eagles, Phillies, Union, Sixers, and Flyers. He was also an avid jazz music afficionado and a member of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, gastronomic society. He also enjoyed coaching his son in youth sports in soccer and baseball. A Graveside Service will take place Thursday October 12, 2023 12 noon at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery 1600 Sproul Rd Springfield, PA. 19064. Immediately following the service, a luncheon will be held at General Warren in Malvern, PA, where family and friends can gather to celebrate Allen's life. Contributions can be made to Alley Cat Allies, a charity that was close to Allen’s heart.  alleycat.org/donate and use tribute donation form.
