My uncle and Godfather Louie. Next to my own father, he was the best and I wished I could be like him, saintly, devoted to his family, completely selfless. When you went to Aunt Nicki's, he ate last. If you went out to eat with him, he had the tab, "Hey Pal", no discussion. He raised his sons to be high achievers and, yet, had higher praise and adulation for anyone who raised their children to be moral and hard working. He admired people with courage and humility. If you achieved the tiniest goal, he was there with praise. He was a grateful and gracious recipient of the least little thing you did for him. He was a good man and uncle, second to none. I really don't know what I'll do without his loving friendship and encouragement. With my father and him gone, I've lost two lifetime advocates. This is a loss that the heart cannot bear alone. He will be missed like the unspeakable and unimaginable loneliness of missing my own parents, God grant him a place in heaven in the most beautiful mansion. I am only comforted by thinking of him being greeted there by his mother, Mrs. Marucci, and my mother, Laura, whom he loved and always had a tender and generous heart for. Thanks Aunt Nicki and Uncle Louie and Bernie, Julie, Nicole, Dave, Lily, Carl, Drew, and Louie Jr for always keeping me and Anthony and David close as you are to each other. My heart aches for you. Love, Loretta
