Robert Landolfi “Bob”, 65, of Hammonton, NJ passed away suddenly and
peacefully October 29, 2023 in his home. Born in Woodbury, NJ. He was a
graduate of St. Joseph HS where he played football, and has resided in
Hammonton, NJ his entire life. He was a member of the West Jersey and NJ State
Funeral Director Associations and former member of the National Funeral
Director Association. He graduated from Mercer County Community College with
a degree in Mortuary Science. Bob was a NJ Licensed Funeral Director for over 40
years. He managed the Landolfi Funeral Home on Bellevue Avenue in Hammonton
with his father from 1979 until his father’s passing in 2015. At that point, Bob
owned and operated Landolfi Funeral Home to this day. Bob was best known for
his compassion and empathy he showed toward his client families. He was a
former member of the Hammonton Rotary club. His true passion was sports and
he loved teaching. It was through his passion for sports where he spent several
years as a volunteer, coaching youth soccer, baseball, and, his most beloved,
football. He was an avid Los Angeles Rams fan since 1969 after watching the
Fearsome Foursome. He took great pride in coaching the Hammonton Hawks
PeeWee football team for more than 15 years. He loved weight training, and was
an avid cyclist from 1987 to this day. Bob would celebrate milestone birthdays by
riding his bike from Hammonton to Cape May, most recently for his 65th , and
would ride in the annual American Cancer Society Bike A Thon. Predeceased by
his father, Robert. He is survived by his Mother Frances Landolfi, nee Bochenski;
Wife Lora, nee Dunleavy; Son Ryan R. (Alaina) and Daughter Jana (Ryan P.); 2
grandchildren; Brother Mark and Sister Donna; numerous cousins, in-laws, nieces,
and nephews. Relatives and Friends are invited to celebrate a Mass of Christian
Burial Tuesday November 7, 2023 at 12 PM at the St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish
St. Joseph Church 3rd St. Hammonton. Relatives and friends may also attend a
viewing from 9:30 – 11:30 AM at the CHURCH prior to mass. Interment will follow
in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Hammonton. In lieu of flowers and to further honor
Bob’s legacy of volunteerism in the community, the family request donations be
made to the Hammonton Hawks Youth Football and Cheer Organization at 75 N
